Does Rand Paul Agree That "private" Business Should Not Have to Use Publicly Funded Services Like Roads?
Since they’re so "private" and supposedly don’t need to "depend" on anyone else, and invent all their own rules, I don’t see any reason they should need to use publicly funded roads, electricity, police, or government loans. Especially not government loans. :/
They can dig their own wells, put up their own generators, and pay road tolls.
Many businesses get out of paying taxes entirely (See Exxon and GE). Well, at least, the giant multinational ones. Small businesses don’t have the money to hire the fleets of attorneys.

Rand Paul believes just what you want him to.

Their business pay taxes to use those roads

So you’re willing to exempt business from taxation?

The government takes their money by force and then they should not use that which was built with and is maintained with that money?
Company pays taxes. Managers pay taxes. Employees pay taxes.
Try again.

I bet private businesses could build roads, etc. at less cost and less time than the government could.

Yeah except they pay federal taxes. Nice try though.

Thank God that a common sense person (Bertrand) answered first. I agree with him.
Splitter has an excellent answer too. I will also agree with him.
Soooo….my answer – Businesses pay taxes but private business could probably build better cheaper roads.
EDIT: Tyger…gays have all the freedoms that they need. They can live together. They can have a commitment ceremony. They can wear matching rings. Marriage is a Holy Sacrament of the Church. According to the bible being gay is not acceptable so – they can’t get married. Marriage is the start of a FAMILY and gays can’t have a traditional family.

they pay taxes, they can use them. how about we decide who your friends are who you have to rely on for things. it is private money that creates the business, private companies employ most people, why not look at whole picture instead of little parts

No, private business are usually OWNED by private citizens, who pay taxes. They hire people to work for them that also pay taxes. They pay taxes from their business too. They pay road taxes if they have a truck fleet. They pay property taxes, fees, etc. so I do not understand where you get the idea they do not pay their way.

in a libertarian world, the state or local community would build and maintain the roads
our infrastructure would be better, because we wouldn’t of had the road sprawl that we have now under federal care over the last 60 years starting with the Eisenhower administration

I don’t get CONS.
Gay people are not "free" to get married, BUT businesses should be "free" to turn away people based only on race?
This goes with the "No science in text books" and the Tea Baggin’ Nazi Muffin Militia".
What will CONS come up with next to take their country "BACK"?
WAY BACK.
Haha.. hahahhahaha

This may come as a big surprise to you, but private businesses actually have to pay for their start-up costs. There is no magic money tree. And many do have to pay for the building of, maintaining and snow removal of their roads. So, what was the question again?

Do ALL Democrats NEED to LIE about Paul’s views to make a point?
> No one said anything about "inventing your own rules."
> Government will usually send guys with guns to stop you if you try to build your own road.
> Government doesn’t make electricity.
> There are more PRIVATE cops than government ones.
> Same with loans.
> People DO dig their own wells, put up their own generators, and pay road tolls.
Even by dishonestly distorting Paul’s statements you still FAIL to make any point at all. (THAT is how I knew you’re a Democrat.)

Dear Mom
I would think that you being older would make you wiser, but i see it does not. Most business that use the roads are Trucks. I hate to burst your bubble but they pay 10 times the road and fuel taxes you do to use these roads, and just to clear it up they are a business. Most business pay more in tax both Federal and State and local in 5 years than you will pay in your life time. I know I am a business.
As to Rand Paul he is right Government should stop regulating everything.
Try to think of the Government as a very large Corporation with no product to produce and nothing to offer the general public so by now you should be getting it.
Thanks Mom remember we all love you until you get to old to remember things so one more dumb question like that and its off to shady pines for you.
your loving son.
